Our Attorneys

Sanford Kahn, LLP consists of seven attorneys all of whom concentrate in Landlord/Tenant Law. They represent many Property Management firms, both Commercial and Residential, as well as Housing Cooperatives and not-for-profit organizations as their eviction attorneys. The attorneys at Sanford Kahn, LLP also represent their clients in defending human rights complaints, housing court complaints, RLTO cases, class actions and appeals.

Sanford Kahn is an attorney who has practiced in Landlord/Tenant Law for over forty years. He is a graduate from The University of Illinois, as well as DePaul Law School and began his career as a civil rights attorney with the law firm of McCoy, Ming and Black.

Eileen Kahn began working at Sanford Kahn, LLP in 1985 as a summer Law Clerk. She attended Indiana University and the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Eileen graduated from the University of Illinois in 1991.

Robert Kahn graduated from Bradley University in 1995, earned his law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1999, and has practiced law since 1999. He is a member of the Chicago Bar Association and is a Partner at Sanford Kahn, LLP.

Amy Sellergren has been representing clients in real estate since 1994. She is a graduate of University of Illinois and John Marshall Law School. Her practice is now primarily focused on residential and commercial landlord-tenant matters and real estate transactions. She began working as an attorney for Sanford Kahn, LLP in 1998. Amy began her law career as a law clerk at a Chicago title company.
